Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

Good-to-Have SQL server backup and recovery option. Advantages if have knowledge in Azure services like Blob storage, Data Lake storage, azure synapse, Data Bricks, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory etc.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations

2 Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

3 Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

4 Experience with backups, restores and recovery models

5 Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Serve
