Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor database health and perform query optimization and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy efficient database solutions.
• Manage database security, user roles, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Perform database upgrades, patching, and capacity planning activities.
• Support database environments hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in MS SQL Server administration.
• Expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience implementing backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Knowledge of database security, authentication, and access management.
• Familiarity with cloud database services on AWS and Azure.
• Understanding of SYBASE database environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
