Role Description:

We are expanding our Content Studio team and need a Video Editor to elevate our video post-production efforts and support our growth. This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented position that requires expertise in video editing, mentorship, and content creation for the AI/ML-focused developer community.

This role will report to the Head of Product Desgin at Plivo and will be based in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other editors in Content Studio to edit and produce 7 short-form videos and 1 long-form video weekly, ensuring professional and premium quality.
• Collaborate with the Content Studio team to create content focusing on AI/ML tools, systems, and projects in the developer space.
• Develop and implement a training program to onboard and mentor less experienced editors, equipping them with the knowledge to succeed at Plivo.
• Maintain creative and technical excellence across all video projects.
• Innovate with motion graphics and effects using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to enhance video storytelling.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of brand guidelines.

Requirements:

• Overall experience of 3 - 5 Years with A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Bachelors degree in Media, Film, Communication, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience in creating professional-grade, high-quality content for digital platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, software development, or developer tools is a bonus.
• Based in Bengaluru, India.
