Motion Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Junior Motion Graphic Designer to support t our product design team by introducing subtle, purposeful motion across our food ordering platforms. This includes our mobile app, self-ser vice kiosks, POS, and some internal tools.

The role focuses on micro-interactions, UI transitions, loading states, feedback animations and lightweight brand motionenhancing usability, clarity, and perceived quality without overwhelming the experience. This is an execution-heavy role with strong collaboration with product designers and developers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and create UI-focused motion graphics such as:

• Micro-interactions (button feedback, selection states, success/error states)
• Transitions between screens and flows
• Loading, empty, and processing states
• Simple brand and accent animations for kiosks and in-store displays
• Translate static UI designs (from Figma or similar) into motion concepts.
• Ensure motion improves clarity, feedback, and usabilityespecially in fast, public environments like kiosks.

Adapt animations for different surfaces:

• Mobile (touch, small screen)
• Kiosk (large screen, quick decisions, distance viewing)

Work closely with:

• Product designers to align motion with UX intent
• Developers to ensure animations are feasible and per formant
• Maintain consistency with brand and design system motion principles.
• Iterate based on feedback and usability considerations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 02 years of experience in motion graphics or UI animation.
• Strong fundamentals of motion design
• Timing, easing, hierarchy, continuity
• Experience with tools such as: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & Lottie etc

Good to Have

• Figma (Smart Animate, prototyping)
• Ability to simplify motion and avoid over-animation.
• A portfolio that includes UI-related motion work (not only marketing videos).
• Experience animating for real products (apps, kiosks, dashboards).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Basic understanding of platform constraints (Android, iOS, web).
• Familiarity with motion guidelines (Material Motion, iOS Human Interface motion).
