Location: Noida, Sector 63

Experience: Minimum 2+ years experience

Work Timings: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (work from office)

Work Days: Monday to Saturday (two Saturdays off in a month, after probation)

ABOUT THE ROLE-

Aviotron Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. is Indias leading K12 experiential Ed-tech company building industrial-grade STEAM skill labs and hands-on learning kits. We are looking for a hands-on Moodle Developer to manage, customize and scale our Learning Management System (LMS).

This role involves working closely with educators, content teams and internal stakeholders to translate learning needs into stable, scalable Moodle solutions. You should be comfortable working independently on a production Moodle environment and take ownership of the modules you handle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-

Manage and maintain all LMS maintenance and development

Configure roles, permissions, users, and courses at scale

Handle course backups, restores and migrations

Customize Moodle themes, UI components, and core features (using best practices)

Install, configure, debug, and maintain plugins

Develop custom plugins/modules when required

Upgrade versions and resolve compatibility issues

Work with quizzes, assignments, lessons, attendance and reports

Debug and resolve production issues safely and efficiently

Handle the overall Git repo related with LMS

Collaborate with content, operations and academic teams to implement LMS features

Ensure system stability, data integrity and performance

Ensure clean, maintainable, Moodle-compliant code

REQUIREMENTS-

Minimum qualification - graduation, 2+ years relevant experience with Moodle in a live/production environment

Strong understanding of Moodle core architecture, roles, permissions, courses and users

Experience with Moodle activities & resources (Quiz, Assignment, Forum, SCORM, etc.)

Ability to customize Moodle themes, UI, and core features using best practices

Working knowledge of Moodle plugins and basic custom plugin development

Strong PHP skills with OOP concepts and ability to work with large code bases

Experience with Moodle upgrades, cron jobs, events, and debugging production issues

Good understanding of Moodle database structure and writing optimized SQL queries

Front-end basics: HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for UI fixes and enhancements

Familiarity with Linux servers, basic Apache/Nginx, and staging vs production setups

Good knowledge and experience in Github

Confident use of Git and experience working in collaborative teams

Ability to work independently, take ownership, and innovate system stability and user experience
