Roles and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SolarWinds , Opsview , and Zabbix monitoring tools.
• Create and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports for infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms for automated incident creation.
• Fine-tune thresholds and alerting rules to reduce noise and false positives.
• Implement escalation policies and notification workflows.
• Monitor servers, network devices, storage, and applications for performance and availability.
• Perform trend analysis and capacity planning using monitoring data.
• Maintain documentation for monitoring configurations and processes.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

Good to Have:

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds , Opsview , and Zabbix administration.
• Strong understanding of SNMP , WMI , API integrations , and network protocols .
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments and virtualization platforms.
• Basic scripting knowledge for automation.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Minimum Qualification:

15 years of full-time education

Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
