Job Description

Position Details Designation: Manager Modern Trade

Location: Mumbai & Hyderabad

Experience: Minimum 8 years

Qualification: Graduation / MBA (Marketing/ Sales).

Certifications in Sales/ Critical Thinking/ Problem Solving would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development of Account Strategic Direction Provide strategic proposals in line with MT expansion Identify new business opportunities for growth Develop tactical plans aligned with customer, client and group objectives Consult with stakeholders to manage operational complexities Negotiate account plans and promotional grids for implementation Conduct gap analyses to determine strengths and challenges Keep stakeholders updated on progress of initiatives

2. Effective Account Management Bring fresh insights to clients business for competitive advantage Advise and influence clients/customers with strategic recommendations Analyze trends and communicate insights/opportunities Optimize trading terms for maximum return Generate new sales and build long-lasting relationships

3. Effective Management of Sales Set sales targets, develop plans and monitor achievements Review accounts with customers using data insights Maintain and achieve new listings Provide leadership and ensure best practice execution

4. Profitability, Sustainability & Growth Set and manage client budgets Develop profit maximization strategies Prepare regular progress and forecast reports using key account metrics 5. Teamwork & Self-Management Ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained Plan and prioritise to manage competing demands Anticipate and manage change effectively Stay updated on industry developments and manage career growth 6. Promotional Activities Plan and execute effective promotional campaigns Measure impact of promotions on sales and brand visibility

Candidate Skills & Attributes.

Strong ownership of Strategic & Annual Business Plans

Excellent in planning new product launches

Multichannel experience preferred

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills/

Excellent communication & customer relationship management skills/

Ability to manage, train and retain high-performing sales teams.

Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
