Job Description

In this role you will be part of an data analytics team consisting of colleagues possessing varying skill sets including data visualization, date analytics, data engineers, and other business analysts. The team member will apply algorithms and optimization techniques to the design and improvement of client business operations and strategy. This role explores new frontiers in the application of simulation, and optimization methods with significant results with a focus on problems solving, solution design and development of analytical frameworks. Other responsibilities will include project scoping, planning, delivery generation, process adherence and client liaison, while ensuring adherence to quality standards and timeliness of delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience
  • 3-4 years’ experience with data analysis, descriptive analytics
  • Experienced with the application of basic statistics and data-analysis in a business environment (trend discovery and analysis, correlation and pattern discovery, text mining, etc.)
  • Experience in data analytics, advanced analytics, data science or related field
  • Has advanced level experience using SQL (or Google Big Query), Vertex AI, Python
  • Understands retail/CPG domain with experience on product, transaction and customer level data
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills (verbal, presentation and written)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and inquisitive mindset
  • Focused on results and able to work closely with others in collaborative environment
  • Energetic & Self-Starting

Desired skills:

  • Proficient with data discovery and exploration, strong use of analysis tools
  • Has intermediate to advanced level Tableau experience in line with descriptive analytics
  • Has strong data structuring, management, harmonization and analysis experience
  • Builds end to end analytical solutions and business consumption oriented dashboards
  • Identifies insights from analyses and proposes recommendations or next best actions
  • Continues to expand and enhance his technical knowledge and skillset, mentors junior team members and contributes to knowledge sharing and advancement in the org
  • Directly engages with clients across all project stages of discovery, design, delivery, deployment
