JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in mobile testing (Android/iOS), strong coding background, and proven ability to drive automation strategy, ensuring scalable and high-quality mobile releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS platforms.

Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate mobile application functionality, performance, and usability.

Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to identify test scenarios, define acceptance criteria, and improve overall product quality.

Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.

Debug issues, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports with reproducible steps.

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

Stay updated with the latest mobile automation tools, trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 4+ years in mobile automation.

Strong expertise in mobile automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox.

Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation scripting.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation suites.

Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, REST APIs, and backend services.

Experience in testing across different devices, emulators, and cloud platforms (BrowserStack, Saucelabs, Firebase Test Lab).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).

Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, or mobile-specific tools).

Exposure to security testing for mobile applications.

Contribution to open-source automation projects.
