Mobile and Web architect

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Architect with expertise in both web and mobile app development. The role requires a strategic thinker who can design scalable, high-performance mobile solutions across iOS, Android, and web platforms. The successful candidate will lead architectural decisions, guide development teams, and ensure best practices are implemented across all mobile initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Define and drive mobile architecture strategy for both web and native mobile applications
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions across iOS, Android, and responsive web platforms
• Lead web development initiatives including responsive design, Progressive Web Apps, and modern web frameworks
• Architect and oversee mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms
• Design and implement middleware solutions and database integration strategies
• Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to development teams
• Evaluate and recommend mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Progressive Web Apps)
• Establish mobile development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices
• Ensure mobile applications meet performance, security, and accessibility requirements
• Collaborate with backend architects to design API strategies, middleware, and integration patterns
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentoring to mobile development teams
• Stay current with mobile technology trends and industry best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural solutions

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development
• 3+ years in a mobile architecture or technical role
• Strong expertise in web development using modern frameworks and technologies
• Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Strong expertise in middleware architecture and database integration (SQL, NoSQL, ORM frameworks)
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, or similar)
• Deep understanding of responsive web design and Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
• Strong knowledge of mobile app security, performance optimization, and offline capabilities
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile-backend integration patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, mobile DevOps, and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and mobile backend services

• Nice to have: Experience with Azure microservices architecture and deployment
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
