ML Scientist

Job Objective:

As ML Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in building and testing machine learning models for our end-to-end AI-based surveillance system. Your primary objective will be to develop, evaluate and test various models, including object detection, human detection, facial recognition, automatic number plate recognition, red light violation detection, suspicious activity detection, etc., various surveillance applications. Additionally, you will work towards deploying these models on embedded edge devices for testing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
2. Research, design, and develop machine learning (computer vision) models as per project objectives.
3. Train and fine-tune machine learning models using relevant datasets to optimize performance and accuracy.
4. Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of models to assess their effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
5. Collaborate with hardware engineers to deploy models on embedded edge devices or cloud platforms for testing and optimization.
6. Document model development processes, experiments, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning / Computer Vision & Image Processing concepts and algorithms, with hands-on experience in model development and evaluation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python , and familiarity with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Experience with Face recognition / Object detection / OCR is preferred.
• Knowledge of deep learning architectures and methodologies for training and optimizing neural networks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Duration:

• For Final year students: 5 Months internship, with the possibility of PPO based on performance and company requirements.
• For Graduated candidates: Full-time

Compensation:

• Internship (Jan-May, 2026): 20,000 (monthly, incl. performance bonus)
• Full-time (June 2026 onwards): 4.2- 6 lakhs (yearly, incl. performance bonus)
