Job Description
We are seeking a Mission Planning and Analysis Engineer for aerospace industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, simulating, and analyzing mission trajectories for launch vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and optimize space mission trajectories and orbital transfers.
Perform mission simulations, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses.
Conduct payload and launch vehicle performance assessments.
Support mission operations planning, including contingency planning and re-entry analysis.
Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and mission review material.
Contribute to risk assessment, reliability analysis, and mission assurance processes.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and space mission design.
Proficiency in STK, GMAT, MATLAB, Python, or similar mission analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret mission requirements and translate them into feasible solutions.
Eligibility
Bachelors/Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Space Science, or related field.
Preferred Skills
Experience with launch vehicle performance modeling and payload optimization.
Familiarity with spacecraft subsystem interactions (propulsion, thermal, GNC, communications).
Exposure to risk modeling, reliability analysis, and mission assurance.
Knowledge of international space mission standards and regulatory guidelines.
Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
Office Hours/ Shift Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (6days)
Salary up to 6 LPA negotiable based on experience and current salary.
