MIS Expert/ Data Analyst

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in data management, statistical analysis, and visualization, particularly within the development sector:

• Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, data management, and statistical modeling.
• Sector Focus: Experience in at least 1 project in the agriculture or rural development sector, having worked on both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Technical Tools: Strong command in one or more data visualization and statistical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, etc.
• Reporting & Visualization: Expertise in the development of dashboards, making analytical reports, and creating presentations, along with strong familiarity with MS Office suite.

Scope of Work

The MIS Expert/Data Analyst will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to monitor scheme performance and recommend strategic improvements:

• Data Analysis & Trend Identification: Analyze scheme-wise beneficiary/assets distributions and progress reports to systematically identify crucial trends and insights.
• Performance Assessment: Work closely with the implementation and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert to accurately assess the performance against KPIs and determine the overall impact of scheme components.
• Benchmarking & Strategy: Analyze data to identify better practices across other states and develop recommendations for implementation strategies to improve performance within Madhya Pradesh.
• Digital Infrastructure Support: Provide support in managing the digital infrastructure for the project and enabling the automation of data collection processes.
