Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on candidate to drive group-level reporting, analytics, automation and AI-enabled decision support across multiple business verticals including Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Finance (Stock Market & Options) and other group businesses.

The candidate must be a ground-level reporting expert who can:

• design reporting architecture,
• build and automate reports on his own,
• create multiple reporting templates for sites and finance teams, and
• Use modern AI tools for reporting, data processing & automation to improve reporting speed, quality and insights.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Extremely strong hands-on skills in:
• Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query, automation, modelling)
• Google Sheets (advanced automation and scripting preferred)
• AI Based Automation & Reporting

The person will act as the central reporting and analytics backbone for the group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group-Level MIS & Reporting Architecture

• Design and own the complete reporting architecture for the group.
• Develop, standardise and maintain group-level MIS formats for:
• O&M operations and sites
• Financial performance
• Stock market and options trading
• Other group businesses
• Build structured templates for:
• site-level reporting
• daily / weekly / monthly financial reporting
• management review dashboards
• Ensure high data accuracy, consistency and completeness.

2. Hands-on Report Building & Automation

• Personally build and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Automate repetitive and manual reporting processes.
• Create automated data pipelines for:
• site data collection
• finance and trading data
• operational performance data
• Develop automation for:
• WhatsApp-based site reporting
• data collation from multiple teams and locations
• scheduled report generation and distribution

3. Dashboards & Advanced Analytics

• Design interactive dashboards for:
• O&M operations and site performance
• financial performance
• trading and market exposure
• Track and visualise KPIs, trends, exceptions and operational risks.
• Build management-ready views focused on:
• performance gaps
• productivity
• financial impact
• decision-support insights

4. AI Tools & Intelligent Reporting

• Act as an internal AI tools and automation expert.
• Identify and deploy suitable AI tools for:
• automated report generation
• data summarisation and insight generation
• anomaly and exception detection
• predictive analysis and forecasting
• Integrate AI tools with existing reporting and data workflows.
• Continuously evaluate which AI tools are best suited for:
• financial reporting
• trading and market analysis
• operational reporting
• management presentations

5. Finance, Stock Market & Options MIS

• Prepare structured MIS for:
• stock market investments
• options trading performance
• risk and exposure tracking
• Build scenario-based reports and simulations.
• Support management with:
• risk dashboards
• performance attribution
• drawdown and exposure analysis
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure alignment with internal controls and compliance requirements.

6. Site-Level & Field Reporting Support

• Design simple and effective reporting formats for site teams.
• Support site teams in:
• data collection
• standard reporting practices
• automation adoption
• Build mechanisms to:
• collate data from multiple sites
• validate site-level data
• highlight abnormal trends and exceptions

7. Management Support & Ad-hoc Analysis

• Act as the single point of contact for management for all MIS and analytics related queries.
• Deliver fast, high-quality ad-hoc reports and analysis.
• Convert raw data into:
• clear business insights
• executive-ready summaries
• structured decision notes and presentations

Strong experience in:

• dashboarding tools
• SQL and data extraction
• Excellent understanding of:
• MIS design
• reporting architecture
• data structures and workflows
• Very strong knowledge of:
• AI tools for reporting, analysis and automation
• workflow automation tools and integrations
• Good understanding of:
• stock markets
• options trading
• investment and performance analytics
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify:
• trends
• risks
• operational and financial gaps
• Strong communication skills to interact with:
• site teams
• finance teams
• senior management

Qualifications

• Graduate / Post-graduate in:
• Finance
• Statistics
• Data Analytics
• Engineering or related discipline
• 5 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in:
• MIS
• reporting
• analytics
• automation or business intelligence
• Exposure to multi-business or diversified business environments.
• Certification or formal training in:
• data analytics
• automation platforms
• AI tools (preferred)
