With a focus on intelligent mining, HME Solutions provides next-generation Fleet Management Systems (FMS-LIVE) for both open-pit and underground mining operations. These solutions utilize advanced VDL hardware to automatically collect onboard telemetry data, optimize operations, and automate equipment processes and decision-making for improved efficiency and productivity.


Role Description


We are seeking a skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer/Technician to manage, maintain, and optimize wireless communication systems at our mine site. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication for operational efficiency, safety, and data transmission in challenging underground and surface environments.


Responsibilities


Design, install, and maintain RF communication systems , including Wi-Fi, leaky feeder systems, and two-

way radios for underground and surface operations.

Conduct site surveys to assess RF coverage and identify potential interference.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize wireless networks to ensure reliable communication for mine

operations.

Collaborate with mining, safety, and IT teams to implement communication solutions in line with

operational needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of RF networks, equipment inventory, and system configurations.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and mining communication standards.

Provide training and technical support to mine staff for communication equipment usage.

Perform periodic testing and preventive maintenance of all RF systems


Qualifications


Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering , or related fields.

Proven experience in RF network design, installation, and maintenance at least 5 + Years

Familiarity with mine communication systems (leaky feeder, underground Wi-Fi, two-way radio).

Knowledge of RF troubleshooting tools (spectrum analyzers, signal strength meters).
