Job Title: Data Migration Specialist (Data Engineer)

Location: Bangalore

Mandatory Skills

Hands-on experience with Data Migration Specialist (Data Engineer).

- Work with subject matter experts and team members to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements

- Create mechanism to extract , cleanse , transform , enrich , load and validate data

- Analyse data structures , map data fields , validate data integrity - Work closely with solution architect to define target data model

- Strong experience in data migration, specifically in moving data from Legacy to cloud

- Create working procedure to facilitate the movement of data to the destination storage, ensuring proper handling and processing.

- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data throughout the migration process.

- Validate that the processed data meets business requirements and is fit for purpose.

- Experience with Software Development tools eg Toad, Golden, SQL Loader, T-SQL, and/or Import/Export tools;

- Migration of BLOB and Metadata perform checksums , ensure data integrity

- Experience in independently work on creating migration strategy and scripts with limited documentation and guidance by exploring existing environment and data structures

- Must have experience with the following: Procedural SQL ( eg PL/SQL , PostgresSQL ) , various data loaded eg SQL Loader along with proficiency in document DB , BLOB and associated products such as DynamoDB , S3 etc

- Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems or malfunctions of feed related systems applications;

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, including a wide range of architectures and technologies;

Qualifications
