Middleware Administrator

Hiring: Middleware / WebSphere Administrator | 8+ Years | India | Onsite/Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Middleware / WebSphere Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in IBM WebSphere, Apache/IHS, Tomcat, Linux, and IIS to manage enterprise-scale middleware environments and support 247 production systems.

Location: India (Onsite/Hybrid)

Mandatory Skills

• IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS 6.x9.x): Installation, configuration, clustering, node management, JVM tuning, patching, migrations, DR
• Apache / IBM HTTP Server (IHS): Installation, SSL management, integration with WebSphere (mod_jk / mod_proxy)
• Tomcat: Installation, administration, WAR deployments, performance tuning
• Linux (RHEL): Troubleshooting, performance monitoring, daily operations
• IIS: Installation, configuration, application hosting, issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

• L2/L3 support for middleware platforms in a 247 production environment
• Upgrades, migrations, patching, and DR activities
• Incident management, RCA, and performance optimization
• Collaboration with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
• Documentation and SOP maintenance

Good to Have

• Automation tools: Ansible, Jenkins, UrbanCode, GitLab
• Cloud exposure: AWS or GCP
• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Team handling / lead experience
