Middle Crossfunctional QA Engineer (JavaScript / TypeScript)

Our teams work closely with clients, often taking full ownership of QA processes from test strategy and automation to manual validation and release support.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop automated tests for new product functionality.

- Support, maintain, and improve existing automation test suites.

- Create and execute manual test cases when automation is not feasible, too complex, or time-constrained.

- Define and prioritize test scope: decide what should be automated first and what should remain manual.

- Maintain and improve the test environment, CI/CD integrations, and automation frameworks.

- Perform API testing and validate backend functionality.

- Analyze test results and prepare clear reports (Allure).

- Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure product quality.

- Work independently as a single QA engineer embedded in the clients team.

Requirements

- Expected experience: 2+ years

- Hands-on experience with Cypress for test automation.

- Solid background in manual testing of web applications .

- Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.

- Experience working with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.

- Practical experience in API testing .

- Familiarity with Allure reports and test result analysis.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with limited documentation.

- Excellent communication skills and readiness for intensive interaction with developers and Product Owners.

- English level: B1 or higher

Additional information

- The working schedule should be flexible to attend client meetings between 9:00 and 11:00 AM ET.

- This role requires a high level of independence, ownership, and proactive communication, as there are no detailed functional requirements available.
