Job Title: Microsoft Packaging / Certification Engineer
Location: Open for both Bangalore and Pune

Shift Timing: US Hours - 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM (might change as per daylight saving)

1. Project Overview: This role focuses on repackaging applications into Windows Installer packages and Microsoft App-V sequences, emphasizing software deployment, testing, and support across Windows and Mac environments.
2. Contractor’s Role: The position involves repackaging applications, performing internal testing, quality assurance, and promoting software from UAT to production, alongside supporting solutions related to application installation, removal, reporting, and other IT tasks such as OSD management and vulnerability remediation. It also includes regional ticketing support using Service Now and collaboration with technical teams on application certification and compatibility issues.
3. Experience Level: Senior – 7+ years.
4. Qualifications: BE or any bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
5. Must have skills: Candidates should have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in repackaging applications and SCCM/SMS software distribution, with additional skills in App-V sequencing, troubleshooting, technical writing, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft App-V, InstallShield, VB scripting, Citrix, and Active Directory. Understanding of file permissions, group policies, and application interaction with operating systems is also essential.
6. Nice to Haves: Good written & Oral communication, Worked on Office 365 suites, ADO Etc.,
7. Tasks & responsibilities the role requires knowledge of SCCM 2012 or later, AppV 5.1, VB scripting, PowerShell, Active Directory, SQL 2012, Service Now, SharePoint, Admin Studio, InstallShield, Windows administration, Citrix, VMware, Office suites, Excel macros, VPN concepts, Mac packaging, scripting, JavaScript, and programming languages such as C#. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and reporting skills are also necessary.
