O365 L1 Resource O365 Key Responsibilities Job Summary:
- We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled L2 O365 Support Engineer to provide intermediate-level support and administration of core Microsoft O365 applications.
- This role involves triaging escalated service desk tickets, collaborating with L3 engineers, and ensuring seamless end-user productivity across email, collaboration, storage, and communication platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange Online, including mailbox access, email delivery failures, and transport rules Support OneDrive for Business: sync issues, access permissions, data recovery, and sharing configurations
- Manage SharePoint Online site access, permissions, library errors, and integration with Microsoft Teams
- Provide assistance with Microsoft Teams: meeting scheduling, chat synchronization, call quality, and app integrations Collaborate with L1 support teams to escalate unresolved incidents and ensure timely ticket resolution
- Assist in O365 license provisioning, group assignments, and mailbox migrations Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides, user FAQs, and platform updates
- Perform periodic health checks across O365 services and generate usage reports
- Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance standards during user provisioning and collaboration setups
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to train junior support staff Required
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Exchange
- Admin Console Proficiency in handling O365 core services from a support and configuration standpoint
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills for hybrid and cloud environments
- Ability to interpret logs and error messages to identify root causes across O365 tools
- Familiarity with basic PowerShell for O365 administration and reporting (bonus) Customer-focused with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalations or major incidents.
- Perform backup, monitoring, and reporting on system health and usage.
- Stay up to date with new Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin portal and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams administration.
- Understanding of identity and access management in Azure AD.
- Familiarity with M365 security & compliance center.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with Intune (mobile device and application management) is a plus.
