Job Opening: Microsoft Fabric Architect (Data Engineering)

Location: Bangalore / Pune / Mumbai / Hyderabad / Noida

Work Mode: Hybrid / Remote

(Hybrid candidates: 23 days per week from office)

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM 8:00 PM IST

(Flexibility required with up to 4 hours overlap with US time zones)

Engagement Type: Contract to Hire (C2H)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: 1.9 LPM (Negotiable based on experience and feedback)


Role Overview


We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Architect to design, scale, and optimize enterprise-grade Data Engineering solutions on Microsoft Fabric. The role demands deep expertise in Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures, capacity optimization, and complex pipeline orchestration, along with strong customer-facing and leadership capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


Architect and deliver end-to-end Microsoft Fabricbased Data Engineering solutions


Design optimal partitioning strategies for large-scale data processing


Drive architectural decisions on Lakehouse vs Warehouse usage based on workload and performance needs


Design and govern data pipelines, sync schedules, and orchestration strategies with optimal Capacity Unit (CU) utilization


Architect and manage complex scheduled data ingestion from 1000+ databases


Lead and mentor Data Engineering teams, providing architectural guidance and best practices


Lead customer-facing discussions on solution design, delivery, and execution


Collaborate with other architects to support global and multi-region deployments
