Microsoft Fabric Admin and Platform Support

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Duration: Long Term

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior, customer-facing Microsoft Fabric expert who can own the end-to-end Fabric platform , drive business tracking and upgrades , and guide customers on Fabric adoption and growth . This role requires strong solutioning skills , hands-on Fabric components expertise , and the ability to manage a small team while working closely with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Microsoft Fabric platform owner and admin
• Engage directly with customers to understand business needs and suggest Fabric-based solutions
• Lead POCs from requirement intake to successful completion , including trial capacity planning

Design and build end-to-end Fabric solutions including:

• Workspaces
• Pipelines
• Dashboards and business tracking reports
• Work with Databricks / Fabric pipelines (Databricks or Power BIbased pipelines)
• Implement and manage Fabric components (OneLake, pipelines, workspaces, semantic models, etc.)
• Configure security and networking , including:
• Gateways
• Private Endpoints to Microsoft Fabric
• Security protocols and access controls
• Support Microsoft Copilot / Fabric Copilot , including customization and future AI readiness
• Track business usage, upgrades, and platform growth
• Manage and mentor an existing Microsoft Fabric team , including reporting and upskilling
• Provide leadership on platform scaling, best practices, and governance

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a Microsoft Fabric Platform Admin / Lead
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric components
• Experience building dashboards and business tracking solutions
• End-to-end experience from requirements POC production
• Working knowledge of Databricks pipelines and Fabric pipelines
• Experience with Copilot / AI features (Fabric Copilot or similar)
• Strong understanding of:
• Gateways
• Private Endpoints
• Security protocols in Fabric
• Ability to interact confidently with customers and present solutions
• Experience leading or managing a team
• Good understanding of data engineering concepts and Power BI (hands-on not mandatory)
• Excellent communication skills and confident English

Nice to Have

• Experience driving Fabric adoption and business growth
• Exposure to future AI use cases within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Consulting or customer-facing background
