Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to design, develop, extend, and maintain high-quality solutions on the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. You will work on exciting client projects involving custom AL extensions, integrations with Power Platform/Azure, API development, upgrades from NAV, and performance optimizationshelping mid-sized businesses achieve digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize AL-based extensions for Dynamics 365 Business Central (cloud/SaaS focus)
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs, code, test, and deploy solutions
• Build integrations with external systems (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, REST APIs, third-party tools)
• Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices & Microsoft coding standards
• Participate in full SDLC: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to deliver high-value customizations
• Contribute to internal product enhancements, reusable components, and knowledge sharing within the team

Required Skills & Experience

• 25+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong proficiency in AL language, Visual Studio Code, and extension-based development (modern BC development mandatory)
• Solid understanding of C/AL (for legacy NAV migrations/upgrades is a plus)
• Experience with SQL Server, RDLC/Word layouts, Jet Reports, or similar reporting tools
• Knowledge of integrations: Web Services, OData, APIs, Azure Functions, Power Platform
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control (Git/Azure DevOps)
• Good grasp of Business Central core modules (Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing/Warehouse)
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-800, MB-820, or AL Developer Associate) are highly preferred

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with BC SaaS upgrades, Copilot/AI features, or multi-tenant environments
• Exposure to .NET/C#, JavaScript, or other modern languages
• Prior client-facing experience or consulting background
