Responsible for development of Cost models for Stamping and Casting associated Metal components like Metal Stamping , Casting , Al. Extrusion and Powdered Metal.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Cost Model development of Metal commodities. Close interaction with the Target Costing, Commodity , Design and Product Management ( Plant GSS ) Team.
• Basic knowledge of Stamping & Casting Tool, Manufacturing/engineering processes, materials & systems. Communication skills are a must to deal with global partners.
• Familiar with Metal Stamping , Pressure Die Casting , Sand Casting and Sintered Powdered Metal manufacturing processes and perform costing. Experience in Stamping shop floor and tooling are desired.

FUNCTIONAL

1. High level experience on PCB, Wiring harness & Power cords manufacturing process, cycle time and MHR data.
2. Knowledge of the design related cost parameters.
3. Add value in supplier selection by cost evaluation and comparison.
4. Knowledge about cost headers and factors that impact overall cost.
5. Basic knowledge on procurement processes.
6. Should be able to comprehend PCB and wiring design drawings and conclude cost based on the design inputs.
