MES Test Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an MES Test Engineer. MES functional tester will work in the Cross Application Delivery department, working as part of MFG&QM testing team. MES Tester will be responsible for the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) testing activities and deliverables on including interfaces to external systems: MES, LIMS etc.

Responsibilities

• Create functional test scripts covering MES user requirements and design using testing tools.
• Execute all MES functional tests (e.g. Non formal functional tests, formal functional tests, regression tests, etc.)
• Report test results in test management tools according to related SOP's
• Deliver all regulatory requirements (e.g. Traceability Matrix, Testing documents, E-Signatures, etc.) for all testing phases
• Report any defect discovered during testing activities, and follow it up until closure
• Follow-up on his testing tasks until closure
• Review the testing deliverables to ensure they are in high quality and meet Company standards & KPI's
• Become focal point for MES functionalities provide Knowledge transfer to other testers
• Attend to project's testing status meetings and provide relevant information
• Inform MFG&QM Test Lead about any risk coming from unresolved defects or late tasks
• Work with other testers to cover any Integration with other modules testing activities

Education and Skill-set required

• Relevant academic background in computer since and IT systems
• MES certification or SAP MES cerfication is added advantage
• At least 5+ years experience in MES Testing/QA departments with MES (preferable Werum PAS-X)
• 5+ years experience related to Testing and Validation of Manufacturing IT Systems
• Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial, preferable in Pharmaceutical manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards (such as Good Manufacturing Practices, GAMP, ISA 95, ISA 88, 21CFR part 11 is preferred)
• Deep knowledge on Master data wrt SAP Manufacturing

• Experience with worldwide projects in global companies
• ERP/SAP Implementation experience
• Pharmaceutical/regulatory experience is an advantage
• Experience working from offshore
