- MES System Implementation: Lead the deployment of MES solutions, including requirement gathering, process analysis, system configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Business Process Mapping: Understand automotive manufacturing processes, including shop-floor operations, production control, quality management, and logistics, and translate them into MES requirements.
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, IT) to gather detailed requirements and create functional design documentation.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration between MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), SCADA, PLCs, and other shop-floor automation systems.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test cases, perform system and user acceptance testing, and ensure the MES system is operating as required before full production deployment.
Experience: 3-5 years in MES implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document manufacturing processes and requirements
- Configure and customize MES solutions to meet client needs
- Provide functional expertise during system design and implementation
- Conduct user training and create documentation
- Troubleshoot issues and provide post-implementation support
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and MES functionalities
- Experience with major MES platforms (e.g., Linkworx, Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISA-95, MESA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications in relevant MES platforms
- Experience in specific industries (e.g., Mining, automotive, pharmaceuticals , food & beverage)
