MES Administrator - Critical Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Senior MES Administrator with strong expertise in Critical Manufacturing MES to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, operating, and administering MES systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across manufacturing operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Critical Manufacturing MES systems.
• Perform system administration tasks including backups, upgrades, health checks, and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot MES-related issues and ensure high system availability.
• Manage system security, user access, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support MES integrations and custom development.

Technical Requirement:

5+ years of experience in Critical Manufacturing MES administration.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server setup and configuration:

SQL Server Instances

Analysis Services

Database Jobs

Linked Servers

Availability Groups

Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems.

Experience with Container Orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred).

Understanding of Web Server Applications:

Web Services

API/REST request calls

Good to have:

• Knowledge of network infrastructure (Ports, URLs, Shares).
• Ability to work with toolbox systems and troubleshoot software applications.
• MES Fundamentals: Model Development, Material Tracking.
• Experience in basic integrations and custom development within MES.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 concepts.
