Job Title: Head of Acquisitions Travel Company

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

The Head of Acquisitions will lead strategic growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments that strengthen the companys position in the travel industry. This role requires a visionary leader with strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of the travel and hospitality ecosystem.



Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify potential targets (travel agencies, tech platforms, hospitality partners, etc.) that complement the companys portfolio.
  • Deal Execution
  • Lead end-to-end M&A processes including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration planning.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in travel, tourism, and hospitality.
  • Build strong networks with investment banks, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Integration & Value Creation
  • Drive post-acquisition integration to maximize synergies and ensure cultural alignment.
  • Track performance of acquired entities and report ROI to senior leadership.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage a team of analysts and managers focused on acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Board to align acquisition strategy with overall business goals.


Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA or equivalent in Finance, Strategy, or Business Management.
  • 12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate strategy, or investment banking (preferably in travel, hospitality, or tech sectors).
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of leading successful acquisitions and integrations.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and valuation expertise.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
