About the Role
We are looking for a Senior HR Analyst Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to support people-related workstreams during strategic transactions. The role focuses on analyzing workforce data, identifying HR risks during due diligence, and supporting post-merger HR integration planning.
You will collaborate closely with HR, M&A, Finance, Legal, and business teams to ensure workforce insights and organizational impacts are identified early and translated into clear actions that support successful deal execution.
Key Responsibilities
HR Due Diligence & Workforce Analysis
- Coordinate HR due diligence activities during mergers and acquisitions.
- Analyze workforce data, organizational structures, compensation, and benefits to identify risks and integration challenges.
- Prepare clear summaries and insights for senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Assess workforce alignment, cultural considerations, and potential integration barriers.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, M&A, and business teams during diligence and integration phases.
- Maintain project trackers, documentation, and executive-ready updates.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance while managing sensitive HR and transaction data.
Post-Merger Integration Support
- Support the planning and tracking of HR integration activities following deal closure.
- Monitor milestones, risks, and dependencies across HR, Finance, IT, and business teams.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between internal teams and external advisors.
Insights & Reporting
- Translate workforce data and qualitative insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, briefing notes, and presentations for leadership teams.
- Contribute analytical insights to discussions and strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in HR analytics, workforce analysis, or HR data reporting.
- Experience working on cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Structured and analytical problem-solving approach.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to M&A transactions, HR due diligence, or post-merger integration.
- Experience in workforce planning, headcount analysis, or compensation benchmarking.
- Familiarity with organizational design, Total Rewards, or HR systems.
- Experience working with global or cross-functional stakeholders.
