Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Merchant Onboarding Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding process while ensuring full compliance with KYC/KYB and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience while protecting the business through proper due diligence.


Roles and responsibilities:


Verify merchant KYC, including identity verification and suitability assessments.

Verify the accuracy and authenticity of submitted documents such as business licenses, tax identification numbers, and financial statements.

Onboard the merchants as per the company standards/requirements and upload the KYCs of the merchant.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., onboarding, investigations, and legal) to resolve any issues and ensure seamless merchant onboarding.

Handle overall merchant complaints through email/CRM tool.

Assist in the development and improvement of KYC and verification procedures and policies.

Provide support to other team members on KYC processes and compliance requirements.

Qualification:


Bachelors degree.

Experience with merchant onboarding processes and KYC verification.

Strong understanding of KYC/AML regulations and guidelines.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in document verification tools and KYC software.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
