Position Overview:

Gokyo is seeking a proactive Experienced and Dynamic Merchandiser to join our team in Mumbai. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in managing the Product lifecycle, ensuring seamless Coordination between Production and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, production teams, and suppliers to develop and execute merchandising strategies.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed decisions on product development and inventory management.
• Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.
• Oversee the production process, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to optimize product positioning and promotional activities.
• Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and production data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fabrics, Apparel, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Merchandiser with 3-5 years in the fashion industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
• Ability to work Independently and Collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
