Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Menswear Fashion Designer based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovative designs and concepts for luxury menswear collections while incorporating traditional Indian aesthetics. Key tasks include designing garments, working with textiles and embroidery, ensuring perfect fit, collaborating with artisans, and overseeing the production process. The role emphasizes attention to detail to maintain the brands iconic craftsmanship and timeless design standards.

Must Skills

• Proficiency in design software for tech packs and mood board
• Professional hand drawn sketches with proper detailings

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Fashion Design and developing creative menswear concepts
• Expertise in Embroidery and Textiles, with a focus on traditional and luxury materials
• Proficiency in assessing garment Fitting and ensuring impeccable tailoring standards
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to merge heritage with modern design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with artisans and a design team
• Passion for luxury menswear and an eye for detail in embroidery and craftsmanship
• Bachelors degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field preferred
• Experience working within the luxury fashion industry is highly advantageous
