Reports To: Marketing Director
Qwikstories is looking for a dynamic and well-connected Creator Meetup Coordinator to build, grow, and energize our creator community. This role is the heartbeat of our in-person and virtual events bringing together influencers, reel makers, videographers, photographers, and all types of content creators under the Qwikstories banner. You will be the face of Qwikstories at every meetup, responsible for sourcing talent, running smooth onboarding experiences, and ensuring creators leave every event inspired and engaged.
Creator Engagement & Outreach
- Identify, research, and reach out to a diverse range of content creators influencers, reel makers, videographers, photographers, podcasters, and UGC creators
- Build and manage a growing database of creators across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with creator communities and agencies
- Represent Qwikstories at external creator events, expos, and industry gatherings
Meetup Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Qwikstories creator meetups both in-person and virtual
- Manage all event logistics: venue sourcing, scheduling, invitations, RSVPs, run-of-show, and post-event follow-ups
- Design engaging event formats workshops, panels, networking sessions, and creator challenges
- Collaborate with marketing to promote meetups across social channels and creator networks
Creator Onboarding
- Own the end-to-end creator onboarding journey from first contact to active participation on the platform
- Create onboarding kits, guides, and welcome materials tailored to different creator types
- Host onboarding sessions walking creators through Qwikstories tools, features, and opportunities
- Track onboarding metrics and continuously improve the process
Community Management
- Manage creator community channels (WhatsApp) and keep engagement high
- Gather post-event feedback from creators and relay insights to the product and growth teams
- Identify top-performing creators for brand partnership or ambassador opportunities
- Facilitate peer connections among creators to foster collaboration
Must-Have
- 24 years of experience in community management, creator relations, or event coordination
- Deep understanding of the creator economy and content landscape across major platforms
- Strong communication skills you connect equally well with a quiet photographer and a high-energy influencer
- Proven experience planning and executing events, physical or virtual
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple creator pipelines simultaneously
- Comfortable with tools like Notion, Airtable, Canva, or Google Suite
Nice to Have
- Experience at a media company, creator platform, or talent agency
- Active social media presence or an existing personal creator network
- Familiarity with creator contracts, usage rights, and brand deal basics
- Multilingual or culturally diverse background a big plus for regional meetups
