This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Billing Associate located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Medical Billing Associate will be responsible for processing medical claims, verifying patient insurance coverage, managing billing inquiries, maintaining accurate billing records, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Additional tasks will include coordinating with healthcare providers for claim resolutions, addressing patient statements, and assisting with revenue cycle management.

• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in medical terminology and coding standards (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS)
• Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in billing software, data entry, and basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office)
• Strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment and meet deadlines
• Relevant certifications in medical billing and coding are a plus
• Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is advantageous
