Medical Affairs Trainee – Medical Excellence

Job Overview

The trainee will work closely with Medical Affairs leaders to translate field insights into meaningful, compliant, and patient-centric initiatives.

Role Purpose

To support Medical Affairs and Medical Excellence teams by gaining hands-on exposure to patient journeys, scientific exchange, and cross-functional collaboration , while developing a strong foundation in patient-centric medical strategy and ethical healthcare engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Journey Understanding & Support

• Assist in mapping patient journeys across Womens Health, IVF, and Critical Care
• Support identification of unmet needs, care gaps, and patient experience challenges
• Contribute to internal documentation and synthesis of patient journey insights

Scientific & Medical Engagement

• Support scientific content development for disease education and patient pathway discussions
• Participate in medical discussions focused on disease awareness, treatment pathways, and real-world challenges
• Ensure adherence to ethical, regulatory, and internal compliance standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Medical Excellence, and Digital teams
• Support coordination of medical initiatives, pilots, and patient-centric projects
• Gain exposure to non-commercial, functionally agnostic ways of working

Job Requirements

• MBBS/ MD Pharmacology fresher, MBA would be an addition
• Strong interest in patient-centric healthcare and Medical Affairs
• Basic understanding of healthcare systems and treatment pathways (preferred)
• Good communication, learning agility, and collaboration skills
