Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Traditional Media Planner with hands-on experience across TV, Print, Radio, Cinema, and OOH. The role requires strong planning fundamentals, market understanding, and the ability to translate brand objectives into effective offline media strategies.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with clients, publishers, and internal teams, and should have experience handling end-to-end media planning and execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop traditional media plans aligned with brand objectives and target audience insights
  • Plan and execute campaigns across TV, Print, Radio, OOH, and Cinema
  • Prepare media recommendations, plan rationales, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with buying, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor campaign performance and share post-campaign analysis and learnings
  • Manage relationships with media partners and vendors
  • Support client discussions, presentations, and planning reviews
  • Track budgets, release schedules, and billing documentation
  • Stay updated on media trends, audience behaviour, and market benchmarks

Key Media Expertise Required

  • Television planning (channel mix, GRPs, reach & frequency)
  • Print planning (publications, geographies, editions)
  • OOH planning (formats, locations, city-wise strategies)
  • Radio planning (station mix, time bands)
  • Understanding of media measurement tools (BARC, IRS, RAM, etc.)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good understanding of Indian media landscape
  • Ability to work with numbers, budgets, and timelines
  • Client-facing communication skills
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management
  • Attention to detail and execution discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

Eligibility & Experience

  • 28 years of experience in traditional media planning
  • Prior experience in a media agency or integrated marketing agency preferred
  • Exposure to multiple categories (FMCG, BFSI, Auto, Retail, etc.) is a plus
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, or related fields
