Job Description
VUI Live is a growth-focused digital marketing agency entering its next expansion phase. We are building a strong Media & Performance vertical to handle large-scale ad budgets and deliver data-driven growth for brands across industries.
We are looking for a leader who can build and run this function with ownership.
Role Overview
This is a strategic + hands-on role.
You will lead:
- Media planning
- Performance marketing strategy
- Programmatic campaigns via DSPs
- Budget allocation & optimization
- Team mentoring
- Client media presentations
You must be comfortable managing large ad spends while also being able to go inside the ad account when required.
Key Responsibilities
1 Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop full-funnel media plans (Performance + Branding)
- Allocate budgets across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Programmatic
- Forecast CAC, ROAS & revenue outcomes
- Build quarterly and annual media roadmaps for clients
2 Programmatic & DSP Expertise (Critical Requirement)
- Execute and optimize campaigns via DSP platforms
- Audience targeting using 1P, 2P, and 3P data
- Understand bidding models (CPM, CPC, CPA, vCPM)
- Implement retargeting, contextual, and behavioral targeting
- Optimize viewability and brand safety metrics
Hands-on DSP experience is mandatory.
3 Performance Optimization
- Deep knowledge of:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- LinkedIn Ads
- Attribution modelling understanding
- Funnel-based optimization approach
- Conversion tracking & pixel implementation
- CRO inputs to creative team
4 Client Leadership
- Present media plans confidently in pitch meetings
- Handle performance review calls
- Explain metrics to CXO-level stakeholders
- Provide proactive optimization recommendations
5 Team & Process Development
- Build SOPs for campaign launch & reporting
- Mentor junior performance marketers
- Create dashboard structures
- Ensure margin discipline on media retainers
KPIs
- Client retention rate (Media Accounts)
- Performance efficiency improvements (ROAS, CAC reduction)
- Media planning accuracy vs actual results
- Growth in managed ad spend portfolio
- Contribution to new business wins
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in performance/media agency environment
- Managed monthly budgets of 50L+ (preferred 1Cr+)
- Strong DSP & programmatic execution experience
- Experience in media planning for multi-channel campaigns
- Excellent analytical & Excel skills
- Comfortable presenting to senior clients
- Strategic thinker + operational executor
Compensation Structure
Fixed Salary + Performance-Linked Bonus
