Role Overview
The Media Director will lead strategic client partnerships while driving integrated marketing, media strategy, and paid media solutions across key accounts. The role involves translating client business objectives into high-impact advertising campaigns through effective media planning, optimization, and performance-driven strategies across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
1. Client Leadership & Strategic Partnerships
- Serve as the primary strategic partner for key clients, ensuring alignment with their marketing and business objectives.
- Develop long-term client relationships and provide strategic consultation on media investments and marketing initiatives.
- Lead senior-level client meetings, campaign reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
2. Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop integrated media strategies across digital and offline platforms aligned with brand and performance goals.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive media plans, including channel mix, budget allocation, audience targeting, and campaign timelines.
- Ensure media strategies are backed by data insights, audience analytics, and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal media, creative, and analytics teams to ensure effective media deployment.
3. Paid Media Management
- Oversee paid media strategy and execution across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, display, and other digital channels.
- Ensure campaigns are optimized for performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversions, and reach.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies to maximize ROI.
- Drive performance marketing initiatives and ensure efficient budget utilization.
4. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, including strategy development, media planning, execution, and performance tracking.
- Ensure seamless coordination between media planning, creative, performance marketing, and analytics teams.
- Maintain quality control, timelines, and budget adherence across campaigns.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for paid media and integrated campaigns.
- Review campaign analytics and present performance insights and recommendations to clients.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making and optimization strategies
6. Business Growth & Revenue Management
- Identify opportunities for expanding media investments and introducing new paid media solutions for clients.
- Support new business pitches, especially around media strategy and performance marketing capabilities.
- Ensure profitability and growth across managed accounts.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team across media planning, paid media management, and client servicing.
- Guide teams in developing effective media strategies and campaign optimization approaches.
- Foster collaboration across creative, media, and analytics teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 1014 years of experience in advertising, media agencies, or digital marketing firms.
- Proven experience managing large-scale paid media campaigns and integrated media strategies.
- Strong exposure to digital media buying, performance marketing, and analytics tools.
