Mechanical Supervisor

Bharatiya Construction is a Vadodara-based Civil-cum-Mechanical contracting company executing maintenance, repair and project works in Oil & Gas and Industrial plants.

The company has experience in PSU projects with clients like IOCL, GAIL and other industrial units , involving works such as:

• Mechanical piping and structural works
• Culvert repair and RCC works
• Insulation, cladding, blasting and industrial painting
• Shutdown and emergency maintenance jobs

We are currently executing an ARC contract at IOCL Gujarat Refinery for civil and mechanical maintenance of culverts and associated pipelines and are looking for experienced site engineers to strengthen our project team.

This is a full-time site-based position at IOCL Gujarat Refinery, Vadodara .

• Daily supervision of mechanical maintenance works such as:
• Piping repair and replacement
• Insulation and cladding works
• Blasting and painting activities
• Managing fitters, welders, helpers and ensuring proper manpower deployment
• Coordination with IOCL Site Engineer / Engineer-in-Charge for daily job allocation
• Handling hot work & cold work permits , toolbox talks and JSA
• Ensuring strict safety compliance and PPE usage at site
• Reporting daily progress to company engineer / project manager
• Supporting shutdown and emergency maintenance jobs when required
• Assisting in measurements and work completion reports

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent trade experience
• Minimum 17 years site experience in refinery, petrochemical or heavy industrial plants
• Good knowledge of:
• Mechanical piping works
• Insulation & cladding
• Welding coordination
• Permit systems and safety procedures
• Ability to control manpower and complete jobs as per site instructions
• Willing to work in shifts, Sundays and emergency situations if required
