Mechanical Durability Test Engineer

You’ll be our : Mechanical Durability Testing Engineer
You’ll be based at : Ather Proto Lab - PVL, NS Palya,Bengaluru
You’ll be aligned with : Lead - Mechanical Durability
You’ll be joining our : Product Validation Lab

What you’ll do at Ather

• Understanding and performing all components & vehicle level durability tests.

• DVP & test plan preparation for durability test lab.

• Co ordinating with team members for test execution and completing DVP as per plan.

• Handling measuring instruments like vernier calipers, dial gauges, inclinometers.

• Fixture design and development.

• Responsible for setting up test benches with pneumatic & hydraulic actuators for durability testing.

• Operation & maintenance of servo hydraulic actuators.

• Responsible for Test profile development, test execution & test report preparation. 

• Responsible for proper usage of equipment/Instruments and machineries.

• 5S and Lab safety maintenance.

• Working knowledge on MS Excel and Word.

• Understanding on updating & maintaining lab documents, services & calibration activities.

• Knowledge in CAD tool Solidworks and NX.

Here’s what we’re looking for

• Understanding of electric vehicle dynamics and performance.

• Experience of working in a mechanical durability or technical support group.

• Expertise in fixturing/test development.

• Experience in servo hydraulic actuators.

• Good and technical communication skills & Punctuality.

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

• Mechanical Engineer with basic electrical knowledge.
