Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our team in Chennai for an on-site position. The role involves conceptualizing and designing mechanical components and products, utilizing design software like SolidWorks and CAD. Daily responsibilities include developing detailed technical drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, and enhancing existing product designs based on performance evaluations. The engineer will ensure designs comply with industry standards and company requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design.
- Experience in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, especially SolidWorks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of industrial vacuum applications is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and meet project deadlines.
