Mechanical Design Engineer

Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer | Experience: 510 Years | Bangalore

Role & Responsibilities

• Creation and processing of standard components.
• Design and development of deformable components including routing elements.
• 3D model creation and design of assembly solutions.
• Assembly arrangement and configuration management.
• Produce detailed drawings using GD&T and CAD engineering best practices.
• Conduct accurate GD&T tolerance studies.
• Prepare semi-complex sketches, design layouts, and technical specifications.
• Support engineering changes through the Siemens CRB design change process.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis to ensure design robustness and compliance.
• Design components in sheet metal, machined, cast, and injectionmolded formats.
• Participate in drafting and design reviews with crossfunctional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5 to 10 years of industry experience in product design, development, and manufacturing.
• Strong background in mechanical assemblies related to motion control and structural systems.
• Proficiency in NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM software.
• Strong GD&T skills with ability to perform complex tolerance stackups.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal and plastic part design.
• Good understanding of ASME Y14.5 standards.
