Role Description - Mechanical Design Engineer:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our robotic systems and mechanical assemblies. You will work closely with electronics, controls, and manufacturing teams to translate concepts into robust, field-ready products suitable for harsh outdoor environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical design, problem-solving, and working on real-world engineering challenges in a fast-paced startup setting.

Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems for autonomous robotic products.
  2. Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with proper GD&T.
  3. Perform design calculations related to strength, stiffness, tolerances, motion, and durability.
  4. Collaborate with electronics, firmware, and control teams to ensure seamless electro-mechanical integration.
  5. Support prototype development, testing, validation, and iterative design improvements.
  6. Work closely with vendors and internal manufacturing teams for DFM/DFA and cost optimization.
  7. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field or production issues.
  8. Document designs, BOMs, and engineering changes as per internal processes.
  9. Ensure designs meet reliability, safety, and environmental requirements for outdoor operation.

Job Requirements:

  1. B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  2. 03 years of experience in mechanical design (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome).
  3. Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor (SolidWorks preferred).
  4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, fabrication, plastics).
  5. Knowledge of mechanism design, bearings, fasteners, motors, gearboxes, and structural components.
  6. Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and engineering drawings.
  7. Hands-on mindset with interest in prototyping and testing.
  8. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
  9. Prior experience in robotics, automotive, EVs, or industrial equipment is a plus.


Compensation
