About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEAN / MERN Stack Developer with deep experience in API development and integration engineering. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining integration frameworks, reusable components, plug-ins, connectors, and webhook-based workflows across third-party platforms. This is not a low-code integration role. The ideal candidate brings strong backend engineering fundamentals with experience in building custom-coded integrations, not platform-dependent tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom connectors, plug-ins, extensions, and API-based workflows.
• Build secure and scalable REST / GraphQL integrations with major SaaS platforms.
• Implement authentication frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, SAML, and API Keys.
• Work with webhooks, event-driven design, SFTP-based file automations, and SMTP email integrations.
• Translate technical and business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Collaborate closely with US-based product, engineering, and customer stakeholders to define integration use cases and deployment milestones.
• Write clean, modular, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Work with customer environments to troubleshoot integration failures, data mapping issues, and workflow inconsistencies.
• Create documentation for integration patterns, connector frameworks, and deployment guides.

Qualifications

612 years hands-on development experience in MEAN or MERN Stack

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in:

• Node.js, Express.js, Python, JavaScript, PHP
• MongoDB (Mongoose preferred)
• REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, XML
• Webhooks and event-driven architecture
• Authentication frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)

Experience in:

• Developing custom plugins, connectors, extensions, and integration pipelines
• Working with SFTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS certificate-based authentication
• Working directly with US-based, enterprise SaaS clients and stakeholders
• Requirements gathering, technical consulting, and implementation engagement
• Past experience in a B2B or B2C SaaS product company is mandatory

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS or similar serverless workflow patterns
• CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, BitBucket Pipelines, etc.)
• Experience with caching, message queues, or ETL concepts
