MBD-HIL Engineer

Job Description

Work Experience:

4 - 6 years (with at least 4 years of experience in MATLAB/Simulink)

Location: Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

Strong technical expertise in vehicle ECU architecture and security-focused development using Agile methodologies.

Contribute to Model-Based Development (MBD) by creating an evaluation environment for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) using Model-in-the-Loop Simulation (MILS) and Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (HILS).

Develop test cases for MILS/HILS based on real driving data.

Design test scenarios based on specifications in CarMaker/CarSim.

Automate the execution of test scenarios.

Verify control logic using MILS/HILS.

Knowledge of MAAB Guidelines, ISO 26262, and ASIL.

Software Proficiency :

MATLAB, Simulink

Code Generation (Embedded Coder)

CarMaker/CarSim.

Python

Key Competencies:

Experience in at least one of the following ADAS features:

o Automatic Parking

o Advanced Emergency Braking System

o Adaptive Cruise Control

o Lane Departure Control System (Lane Departure Prevention System)

Hands-on experience in verification using MILS/HILS.

Proficiency in Python .

Familiarity with CarSim/CarMaker.

Experience with dSPACE ControlDesk and Vector CANoe/CAPL.

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.

Problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

Team-oriented mindset.
