Maximo Visual Inspection Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

AI & Computer Vision Development

• Build and deploy AI-driven Maximo Visual Inspection solutions for defect detection and asset monitoring.
• Develop and train CV/ML models using YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or similar architectures (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Create and optimize visual inspection pipelines, including dataset preparation, annotation, training, and testing.

Platform Integration & Deployment

• Integrate trained models with IBM Maximo for automated inspections and workflows.
• Deploy solutions on OpenShift, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments using scalable CI/CD practices.
• Implement edge AI deployment models for real-time inference at industrial sites.

Model Optimization

• Optimize inference performance for cloud and edge environments.
• Implement monitoring and version control for CV models and pipelines.

System Integration & APIs

• Build integrations using REST APIs to connect Maximo, MVI, and external systems.
• Automate workflows and implement event-driven triggers for visual inspection tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills :

• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Visual Inspection (MVI).
• Strong knowledge of YOLO, Faster R-CNN, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with OpenShift, Azure ML, and containerized deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and machine learning workflows.
• Experience in building and deploying edge AI solutions.

Preferred

• IBM Maximo Certification (Visual Inspection or Application Suite).
• Experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
