Job Title: .NET MAUI Developer (Hardware Integration Cross Platform)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET MAUI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in hardware integration and cross-platform mobile/desktop application development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain applications that interface with external hardware devices across Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI
• Implement hardware integrations such as:
• Bluetooth / BLE devices
• USB devices
• Serial communication (RS232/COM)
• NFC / RFID readers
• Barcode scanners
• IoT devices
• Develop platform-specific implementations when required (Android/iOS/Windows)
• Work with native APIs and device SDKs for hardware communication
• Implement secure device communication protocols
• Optimize performance for real-time hardware interactions
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware-device communication issues
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices (MVVM architecture)
• Collaborate with firmware and backend teams for end-to-end integration

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in .NET development
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET MAUI
• Experience with:
• Bluetooth/BLE integration
• USB & Serial Port communication
• Native platform bindings (Android/iOS/Windows)
• Strong knowledge of:
• C#
• MVVM architecture
• Dependency Injection
• REST API integration
• Experience with async programming & multithreading
• Knowledge of platform-specific permissions and device capabilities
• Experience with Git version control

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xamarin.Forms (migration to MAUI is a plus)
• Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, WebSockets)
• Familiarity with Azure IoT or cloud-connected hardware solutions
• Experience deploying apps to App Store / Play Store / Windows Store
• Understanding of firmware communication protocols

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
