Job Description

Role Overview

Own and lead the expansion of the brand into multiple marketplaces across India and the US. This role is responsible for launching new platforms, scaling revenue, and building repeatable marketplace growth engines beyond Amazon.

This is a hands-on expansion + revenue ownership role, working closely with the founder.


Key Responsibilities


Marketplace Expansion :

Identify, launch, and scale new marketplaces:

  • India: Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto)
  • US: Amazon US

Own end-to-end marketplace setup: onboarding, listings, pricing, logistics coordination

Create platform-specific expansion plans and rollout timelines


Revenue & Growth Ownership :

  • Own marketplace revenue targets month-on-month
  • Drive growth through pricing, promotions, visibility, and assortment planning
  • Track sales, margins, contribution, and platform-wise performance


Quick Commerce Scale-up:

  • Launch and scale quick commerce platforms city-by-city
  • Work with category managers to improve placement and promos
  • Manage assortment, pricing, and supply for fast-moving SKUs


Amazon US Launch & Scale

  • Set up Amazon US from scratch
  • Manage listings, compliance coordination, and pricing
  • Run demand tests and scale products with traction


Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with marketplace and QC platform teams
  • Negotiate commercials, margins, and visibility opportunities
  • Unlock platform-led growth initiatives


Ads & Performance

  • Run and optimize basic marketplace ads (Amazon, Flipkart, QC)
  • Allocate budgets based on ROI and revenue impact
  • Improve conversion and visibility using data


Cross-functional Execution

  • Work closely with supply chain and ops teams
  • Ensure inventory availability and smooth fulfilment
  • Solve operational and platform issues quickly


Ideal Candidate Profile


  • 48 years experience in marketplace / e-commerce expansion
  • Has launched or scaled multiple marketplaces for a D2C or FMCG brand
  • Strong understanding of how marketplaces drive revenue and margins
  • Exposure to Quick Commerce and/or Amazon US is a big plus
  • High ownership, founder-mindset, execution-driven
