Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a marketing specialist with experience in movie marketing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in film promotions, campaign planning, and coordinating marketing initiatives across digital and offline platforms. Prior experience with production houses, studios, or media/entertainment companies will be preferred.

Ability & Skill Set

• Strong conceptual & content-driven ideation skills
• To come up with clutter-breaking marketing ideas & innovative promotional campaigns for indie Hollywood movies across all genres
• A think-aloud, creative mind with the capability to ideate & execute differentiated movie marketing experiences
• An out-of-the-box thinker who can find simple solutions to bottlenecks and challenges in the marketing ecosystem
• A Hollywood movie fan with great passion specifically for English content & independent Hollywood cinema
• Should have outstanding knowledge of english & foreign language cinema, popular film-makers, actors, movie trivia, trends, etc.
• Strong understanding & ideas of Hollywood film promotion for pr, social media, etc
• Excellent ability for making presentations (Canva, ppt) for preparing marketing decks -
• Great verbal and written communication skillsdrafting PR announcements, preparing concept notes, etc.
• Understand budgeting, event & promotion costs, good analytical ability
• A mature candidate with in-depth experience & understanding of systems & processes.
• Structured & streamlined thought process in terms of curating marketing campaigns & execution
• Ability to rope in entertainment media partners and create film-driven promotional tie-ins across digital & ground activation
• Strong sense of urgency to all tasks-on-hand. Meticulous with an eye for detail
• Positive orientation towards the fast-emerging digital world
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

The applicant should have a minimum of 45 years of relevant experience in a marketing role, in line with the responsibilities outlined in the job description above.
