Location:Remote (Must be based in Mumbai AREA, India)

Employment Type:Part-time, Freelance 10-15 HOURS A WEEK

Compensation:Paid on an hourly basis (timesheet based)

We are dedicated to bringing high-quality functional ingredients to food, beverage, and nutraceutical manufacturers in theUK and Spain. Our product portfolio includes:

  • Isomaltulose & Isomalt(low-glycemic sweeteners)
  • Galactosidase(dairy processing enzyme)
  • Probiotic Strains(Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species)

As we launch our operations, we are building a lean, high-impact team. We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Manager based in Mumbai to help us establish our brand, generate leads, and support our sales efforts.

The Role

We are seeking a self-starting, part-time Marketing Manager to own our marketing function. You will work remotely, reporting directly to the Founder. Your primary mission is to build our brand presence, create compelling sales collateral, and generate qualified leads for our sales team in the UK and Spain, AND later to extend to India on a B2B basis. Indian role will require enhanced working hours and possibly a fuyll time country manager role. The entire effort is also backed up by our ecommerce B2C division that will help sell thes eproducts online in India and Europe.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building something from the ground up. You will have the autonomy to propose strategies and the responsibility to execute them.

Key Responsibilities1. Brand & Content Development (The "Offer Set")
  • Develop and write compelling content for our company profile, website, and sales brochures (B2B focused).
  • Create product data sheets, application guides, and case study templates for our four core product categories.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all materials, tailored to professional buyers (R&D managers, procurement) in the UK and Spain.
2. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
  • Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence to connect with potential B2B clients in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Plan and execute targeted LinkedIn campaigns to generate inquiries for Isomaltulose, Isomalt, Galactosidase, and Probiotics.
  • Build and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and keep our brand top-of-mind.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics (leads generated, website traffic, engagement).
3. Sales Enablement
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and create materials that help them close deals (presentation decks, competitive comparisons, one-pagers).
  • Maintain a digital library of marketing and sales collateral that is easily accessible to the team.
4. Market Research
  • Conduct ongoing research on market trends in the UK and Spain and India related to sugar reduction, digestive health, and clean-label ingredients.
  • Identify key industry events, publications, and online communities where we should have a presence.
5. Website Management
  • Oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of our company website (ensuring product listings are up-to-date and the inquiry form is functional).
  • Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to attract organic traffic from potential buyers.
Required Skills & ExperienceEssential:
  • Experience:3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably inB2B, industrial, or food ingredients marketing.
  • Location:Must be based in Mumbai and comfortable working UK/EU hours (flexible, with core overlap hours).
  • Content Creation:Excellent written English skills; ability to translate technical product features into clear customer benefits.
  • Digital Marketing:Proven experience managing LinkedIn for business and executing B2B email campaigns.
  • Self-Starter:Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver results with minimal supervision in a start-up environment.
  • Tech-Savvy:Comfortable using tools like Canva, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience in the food, beverage, nutraceutical, or biotechnology sectors.
  • Familiarity with the UK or European food market regulations and trends.
  • Basic graphic design skills (creating simple social media visuals and brochures).
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
Working Hours & Compensation
  • Commitment:Part-time, approximately15-20 hours per week(flexible, can be discussed based on campaigns and workload).
  • Schedule:Remote, with flexibility. Core coordination hours may be required to align with the UK team (e.g., 12:00 PM 5:00 PM IST).
  • Pay:Paid strictly on anhourly basisbased on a submitted and approved timesheet.
  • Contract:Initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension based on performance.
